IoT & Robot Interfaces

Let robots and lifts work as one connected system.

Enable supported service and delivery robots to request a lift, select a destination floor, and receive verified lift and door status through a project-specific interface.

Robot lift integration connects the journey request with verified lift and door status. Final connectivity depends on the lift controller, robot platform, and approved site design.

Overview

Robot lift integration is engineered around the existing lift controller, robot platform, building access rules, and site network. Each command and response is clearly mapped, tested, and recorded without replacing the lift's safety functions.

Robot lift journey

A verified request and response at every step.

The interface translates robot requests into approved lift commands, then returns the status the robot needs to continue its journey.

  2. 02IoT gatewayAuthenticates, maps, and records commands
  3. 03Lift interfaceExchanges approved calls and status signals

The interface coordinates requests and status only. Lift safety circuits, emergency priority, and manual operation remain under the approved lift system.

01

Robot lift calls

Support authorised lift calls and destination-floor requests from compatible service or delivery robot systems.

02

Verified status feedback

Return request acknowledgement, lift arrival, current floor, availability, and door status for the robot workflow.

03

IoT records and alerts

Keep timestamped command, response, timeout, and fault records with optional remote alerts and operating views.

04

Project-specific integration

Coordinate the robot API, lift signals, access control, gateway, and site network according to the approved operating sequence.

How it works

From robot request to verified lift response.

01

Assess

Review the robot platform, lift controller, available interfaces, access control, network, and required journey.

02

Map

Define each call, floor request, acknowledgement, arrival, door status, timeout, and failure response.

03

Integrate

Configure the gateway and approved electrical or communication interface between the robot and lift systems.

04

Commission

Test normal journeys, rejected requests, offline conditions, timeouts, emergency priority, and manual control behaviour.
